The 2009 Class of  Leadership Macon has released a public service announcement with details for the upcoming Celebrity Grand Slam softball exhibition game.

The Grand Slam exhibition game will take place on October 17, 2009 at 6:30 PM.  The game will be played at Mercer University's Sikes Field located in Macon, Georgia.  Admission to the event is $5.00 (kids 12 & under are free).  Tickets are available at the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, the Central Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross on Holt Avenue and from the individual members of the Leadership Macon Class of 2009.  Tickets will also be availabe at the ticket booth on the day of the game.

The 2009 Class of Leadership Macon would like to extend the opportunity to business leaders in the community to participate in the 2009 Celebrity Grand Slam Softball Game benefiting the Central Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross. 

After the Mother's Day tornado on May 11, 2008, the American Red Cross was instrumental in providing assistance to those hardest hit by the disaster. Our local chapter has since faced serious financial strain due to its recovery efforts within our community.

Our Leadership Macon class is stepping up to the plate to help and we need your help!  Please consider sponsoring our fundraising event.
